Description

Lucerne Tourism wants to develop a web-based map application that will act as a digital travel guide for the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne Region. A central feature is a category-based navigation system that allows users to filter and discover places according to their interests. The challenge here is to analyze the existing category trees and simplify them in such a way that the application remains clear. At the same time, the relevant information density must not be lost. It is important to find the right balance between simplicity and completeness.

Main Tasks

  • How can existing category trees be analyzed and optimized for a clearer structure?
  • Which approaches can ensure that no important information is lost through simplification?
  • How can the design be created in such a way that it offers an intuitive and appealing user experience?
  • Which technical solutions make it possible to dynamically adapt the categories to the user’s preferences?
  • The result should be a well-organized, user-friendly navigation interface that enriches the travel experience and optimally presents the diverse offerings of the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne Region.
